Jesus Paid It All

We're gonna color some eggs today!:) It's almost Easter and it's how we roll around here. We're even looking forward to spending some time with family and friends tomorrow! My mom, sister and nephew are going to join us at our daughter, Michelle's house. I can't wait to see them! As we celebrate what Easter really means and share the story with our kids through fun activities, like dyeing eggs, reading Benjamin's Box, opening Resurrection Eggs to tell the Easter Story and going to church tonight, there's a night I can't forget. It was some years ago and it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with Jesus!

One night I had this dream...

In my dream I was trying to get home and I ran out of gas at the Crown gas station. Actually, I could see it, but I wasn't in the Crown gas station, yet... So I prayed and God sent some friends to push my car in. Then, because I had no money, I prayed again and when I opened my eyes, some coins were spilled on the ground. Next, because I needed to get my car pumped with gas, I was standing where the gas pumps were. As I proceeded to fill my tank, the gas spilled over. As I looked up to see how much I owed, there in red red bold letters flashing across the top read, JESUS PAID IT ALL...

I don't know why God allowed me to have this spiritual dream? But I will always treasure it! It means so much to me!

I needed to get home (Jesus is the way home). And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:3

Friends came to help me (the body of Christ). Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12
God provides everything I need, including my salvation through his one and only Son (the coins to pay for gas). having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. Colossians 2:14
